We chose the solar pump with 12 v option because we have a shallow irrigation ditch. It is powerful without being too powerful.We think it is great, heavy duty, able to attach to a board (no wheels yet-we are working on that)to make it portable...

I bought a DC SYDC-QB1.5-15-12-180 water pump from Pump Supermarket. In my application, this pump gets powered directly from a 12V/200W solar panel. It pumps pool water through the solar heating panels whenever the sun shines. It's been working fine now for over 3 months. Pump Supermarket had a great price for this pump and delivery was fast.

5-star customer service. The pump I ordered was too wide to fit in a 4” well*. Armin and Chris were very helpful in communications by phone and email to return the pump and refund my money within a few days. I would have been happy to exchange for a different model but they didn’t have anything in stock that would fit. * the pump is 4" in outer diameter, with additional metal shielding on the side where the cord enters the case.
